Underlying objective of the activity

The collection and professional processing, treatment, restoration and preservation of items in the museum collection and material documents of the history of Bratislava. To make the collection and expertise of the museum accessible to the public by permanent exhibitions and short-term displays.

 

To popularise the collections, resources and achievements of the museum by cultural and public educational activities and the publishing activity of the museum.

The museum makes public the findings and achievements of its research by means of its publishing activity. It publishes The Collection and other periodical and occasional publications in hard copies as well as in electronic form.

 

It manages the distribution, sale and commercial activity related to the products of its museum activities at home and abroad. It may operate as an entrepreneur beyond the scope of its activities within the limits and conditions prescribed by its founder.
