The museum is housed in the flat of the distinguished Slovak poet and writer, Janko Jesenský. Exhibits showing the life and works of this outstanding writer are presented within the authentic living area – the workroom, hall and reception room. Following its reconstruction in 1967, in the original bedroom of his wife – Anna, née Bottová, exhibits relating to the works and life of another writer, Jozef-Gregor Tajovský and his wife Hana Gregorová, were installed.
