The collections from earlier history (feudalism) are sourced from a number of typologically different categories of artefacts. The extensive collection of guild objects, including sealing- stamps, coffers,vessels and other containers, sign-boards, “information plaques” and flags, excels in the whole of Slovakia.
Other numerous resources are implements of torture, historic scientific apparatus, work tools and various wooden and metal items (including the collection of dated wooden planes from the 18th and 19th centuries, metal tongs for waffle-making, and decorated flag-staffs) as well as sealing-stamps for municipal offices, a unique collection of copper engraving plates and musical instruments.
