This collection contains artefacts collected in the first years following the foundation of the Bratislava City Museum, most of them donated by Count Zichy.
Artefacts in this collection come from Asia (China, Japan, Iran, India), America (Mexico, Peru), Africa (central, south, Egypt) and contains also some unidentified objects. Unique are several items originating from Egypt (a statue of a dignitary, mummies of crocodiles, torsos of a statue of an Egyptian god).
